Our Story

McNulty Wood Floors is a growing company with a long lineage of flooring tradesmen. From my father and his brothers, to my father-in-law and his father and brothers, as well as their grandfather. Some of my earliest memories as a young boy are sitting on a milk crate between my father and his buddy back in the 80’s in their work van going to job sites.

Keeping the family craft alive

I didn't come back around to flooring for some time, and it was reintroduced to me by my father-in-law, who has been flooring since he was 9 years old. I had been working at a naval shipyard for 10 years, depleted and burnt out. He offered me an apprenticeship/partnership and I jumped at the chance to learn this trade with so much history on both sides of the family.

A close-knit family-run local business

We have created McNulty Wood Floors, and I have now built something of my own to pass onto my children if they so choose. My own 9 year old son joins us in the warehouse chomping at the bit to help out, and I'm sure he'll be laying boards in no time! In addition, my nephew joins us and is also learning the trade when he isn't at the firehouse. We are a close-knit family run local business that believes strongly in integrity and outstanding quality, giving you the finest floors to live and love on for a lifetime.
