We know there's a lot to consider when choosing a new floor for your home. The first question you should ask yourself is "am I in my forever home?" There are many options to consider based on your answer, and we will walk you through every step of the decision with expertise and care. We want to hear your thoughts and dreams, and offer our thoughts and experience as needed. We prefer to work closely with our customers so there is full transparency with both options and outcomes.
WOOD FLOOR INSTALLATION
If you are in your forever home, or just want to go with the highest quality option (resale value, etc.), wood floors are longer lasting, more durable, and absolutely beautiful. A point to consider is that hardwood floors do need to be maintained properly, but with the proper care, they will last a lifetime. There are several species of wood to choose from, along with stain color, sealant type, and finish to customize your space. Wood floors increase the beauty, integrity, and value of your home and are one of the most worthwhile investments we could suggest.
VINYL FLOOR / LVP INSTALLATION
If you are not in your forever home, working with a tight budget, or just need something to get you by for the short term, then LVP (Luxury Vinyl Planks) may be a good option. Today's vinyl planks are made with a higher quality vinyl than they used to, offering a lot more durability and longevity. They may last up to 15 or more years, depending on their location and traffic in that area. There are a wide range of options to choose from as well. The downside is that they do not generally increase your home's value.

These are initial things to consider, but it only scratches the surface, and that's where our expertise and honesty can help. We would be more than happy to talk with you, see your space, and sit down to answer any and all of your questions to make sure you end up with the right option for your wants and needs.
ENGINEERED HARDWOOD FLOOR INSTALLATION
Engineered wood floors can be a great alternative to solid wood floors. Engineered wood floors look identical to solid wood planks on the surface, but instead of having wood all the way through, engineered wood planks have a piece of baltic birch plywood as the core, with a layer of hardwood on the surface and the bottom of the plank. The baltic birch plywood core offers stability because of its many thin layers, glued together and going in different directions. Engineered wood floors were designed to lay down where solid wood floors are not able to go, such as concrete or radiant heat floors. Engineered wood floors have the potential to be refinished similar to hardwood floors, and like hardwood, they also increase value to your home.
